The Henderson County HELP Center was established in 1990 with a mission to develop programs for the support, care, health and well being of the people of Henderson County.

​The HELP Center programs shall include public social service activities that strive to accomplish the following goals:


To provide a countywide information and referral service to reduce duplication of services, assess social service needs and resources, and enhance communication between those in need and the available resources.
To provide specific programs to address the observed needs.
To promote public awareness of the various needs.
