The Henderson County HELP
Center is a Community Information Center (CIC) and is the first point of
contact for our community to call for information about health and human
services. Trained staff and volunteers can help locate available services
for food, clothing housing, child and youth services, job placement
assistance, education, recreation, support groups, and many other programs
and services.
The Helpline provides information and referral services to assist
individuals in locating the resources to match their needs. The United Way
Children's Emergency Fund and the Assistance for the Elderly Fund provide
financial resources for county residents in need. The Helpline screens
applicants to ensure documented need and to reduce duplication of services
or assistance .
